Methodology

Students often state that they have not been taught how to write and they do not know what to write. Devised, practiced and tested for years, my writing methodology has been taught to hundreds of students throughout the years.

This integrated charting method allows for any writing task ⎯ paragraphs, essays, synthesis, persuasive and research writing ⎯  to be logically and analytically mapped out in a meaningful and useful way.

I teach a process that allows for learners to explore the full breadth and scope of their inquiry in generating, exploring, developing and supporting a strong position while cultivating analytical skills and harnessing creative possibilities toward writing that has form, purpose and power.

Most importantly, this approach empowers learners of all levels to successfully tackle the multitude of writing assignments with confidence while building foundational skills that foster deep thinking and connections.

Learning and employing this practical method can spark thinking and strengthen students’ ability to purposefully plan and write critically, creatively and make a meaningful contribution.
